Swiss watchmaker Romain Jerome recently launched an exclusive collection with watches made from moon dust, parts of the Apollo XI, Soyuz and the International Space Station. Can you believe this? Named as the “Moon Dust-DNA”, this exclusive collection of watches features a lunar dial based on a mineral deposit including Moon dust, a 46 mm steel and titanium case incorporating steel from the Apollo XI space shuttle, rusted steel paws including fragments of the Soyuz spacecraft and a strap composed of fibres from a spacesuit worn during the ISS mission.
So, a “Moon Dust-DNA” watch is a perfect item for collectors. Romain Jerome will start to sell the watches from next year’s Baselworld, the world’s largest annual fair for the watch and jewelry industry. Want to buy one? But, what about the price?
