Need some help in reading the content on a web page? What about listening to a web page, instead of reading? Ever wanted to hear the words on a web page? Try Text to Voice Firefox Add-on, which will let you easily hear the words on a web page. Yes, ‘Text to Voice’ adds Text to Speech functionality to Firefox web browser. After enabling this add-on, just select the you want to hear, click the speaker icon on the bottom-right of Firefox and you will hear the word(s). You can even download what you just heard. You can also access this add-on from the context menu.

Text to Voice Firefox Add-on lets you download the audio file as MP3.  Yes, an audio file in MP3 format can be downloaded from the same web page you are on. Right click on ‘download MP3’ link, select ‘save link as’, select preferred location on your computer and Text to Voice Firefox Add-on will download the mp3 audio file there.
