Apple has unveiled a new mobile advertising platform. Called iAd, the new mobile advertising platform will be used to display adverts in iPhone and iPad applications made by third party developers. Apple today previewed its iPhone OS 4 software and released a beta version of the software to iPhone Developer Program members.
