Yahoo! to close GeoCities this year

Yahoo! is shutting down GeoCities, it’s free web-hosting service. Yahoo said about it’s plan to shut down GeoCities on Thursday. Though no fixed date announced, Yahoo mentioned on it’s website that the service will be shut down later this year. Pirate Bay defendants found guilty of Copyright violation

World’s most popular file-sharing service The Pirate Bay have been found guilty of breaking copyright law. On Friday a court in Sweden convicted the founders and operators of The Pirate Bay and sentenced each to one year in jail.

The four defendants Frederik Neij, Gottfrid Svartholm Warg, Carl Lundstrom and Peter Sunde were found guilty of providing access to 33 copyright-protected files for illegal download via the Pirate Bay website. Yahoo!’s new Artist Pages aggregate Third-party contents
