IBM to build Smart Computers that functions like Human Brain

IBM, together with researchers from the top universities such as Stanford, Wisconsin-Madison, Cornell, Columbia and California-Merced will work on a new intelligent system that will mimic brains. The project is funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and will bring together neurobiologists, computer and materials scientists and psychologists.
