G.Skill International has announced that it has created the ultimate extreme performance dual channel DDR3 2GB x2 memory kit, rated at 2,500MHz CL9-11-9-28 at only 1.65V. This DDR3 2,500MHZ kit is specifically designed for Intel Core-i7 860 and 870 processors. The kit was built in collaboration with ASUS. ASUS’s N51V is First Notebook to Receive Carbon Footprint Certificate

Taiwanese company ASUS’s N51V notebook computer is the world’s first notebook computer to receive both Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and carbon footprint (PAS 2050:2008) certificates. Based on EPD, ASUS follows BSI PAS 2050:2008 to implement Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) which includes five phases—materials, manufacturing, using, transportation, and disposal—and subsequently discloses completely the direct and indirect GHG emission data during each phase.
