Seagate launches 3TB External Desktop Hard Drive

Seagate has unveiled the World’s first 3 Terabyte External Desktop Hard Drive. The 3TB FreeAgent GoFlex Desk external hard drive features pre-loaded backup software with encryption and USB 2.0 plug-and-play connectivity. Its sleek black, 3.5-inch design sits either vertically or horizontally to accommodate any desktop environment. The new GoFlex desk drive is compatible with both the Windows operating system and Mac computers.

The 3TB FreeAgent GoFlex (STAC3000100) desk external drive comes with pre-loaded backup software with encryption. So, it secures your backed up files and protects your privacy with powerful encryption software. It can also ensure automatic continuous backup of your data. GoFlex desk drive is easy to upgrade. With the upgrade cables and kits you can easily move up from USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 or FireWire 800.
