PayPal has launched a new version of it’s mobile app for Android users. The PayPal Mobile for Android application now features bump technology, which lets two users send money by bumping their phones together. It means you can easily send money from your PayPal account to another person just by tapping your phone with that person’s phone. Currently PayPal app for iPhone also supports bump technology. The version 2 of PayPal Mobile for Android also lets you request a payment and withdraw money from your account.
So, with PayPal Mobile for Android app, whenever you want to send or receive money via PayPal all you need to do is just tap or bump your phone with the phone of receiver or sender. You can also use the bump feature to exchange contact info between phones. Another new feature of this android app is split the check, which lets you automatically calculate the total cost of a bill and split the bill between you and your friends.
The PayPal Mobile for Android is a free application. It is now available in the Android Market. To download it, search for PayPal in the Android Market and follow the instructions.
