Nokia with Verizon Wireless introduces a new fun phone named “Nokia 7705 Twist”. The 7705 Twist has been designed to facilitate easy and quick messaging on the move. So, it features an unique square shape that swivels open to reveal a full QWERTY keypad.
Nokia 7705 Twist has a 2.4-inch, 262K TFT QVGA screen. The phone’s shortcut buttons provide quick access to messaging, the 3.0 megapixel camera, Web browsing, V CAST Music with Rhapsody, voice commands, and speakerphone options. It also features a 3.0 megapixel camera/camcorder with flash and autofocus. There is a customizable Contact Light Ring, that can be customized to identify a message or a call from those listed in the contact directory. It is located in the lower right corner of the phone.
Other features of Nokia Twist include media center, threaded messaging, HTML browser, built-in mirror and support for Mobile Email, Mobile Web Mail, Chat and Blogs. Supported Bluetooth profiles include headset, hands-free, dial-up networking, stereo, phonebook access, basic printing, object push (for vCard and vCal), file transfer, and basic imaging
Nokia Twist will go on sale online at www.verizonwireless.com on September 13 and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on September 21. It will be available for US$99.99 after a US$50.00 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
