Microsoft releases Internet Explorer 8
By admin on March 19, 2009 at 6:50 amMicrosoft on Thursday launched a new version of it’s Internet Explorer web browser. Called as Internet Explorer 8, this new version of the popular web browser is said to be more secure and faster than it’s previous versions.

Some of the new or improved features of Internet Explorer 8 includes enhanced tabbed browsing, smarter Address Bar, better Find On Page, improved Zoom, ability to reopen closed tabs, Accelerators and Web Slices, InPrivate Browsing, improved anti-phishing filter etc.
The new SmartScreen Filter in Internet Explorer 8 will protect you against inadvertent installation of malware, or malicious software which can compromise your data, privacy, and identity while also damaging your computer and valuable data. IE 8 also blocks almost all common cross site scripting (XSS) attacks and protects you from malicious ActiveX controls. The Domain Highlighting feature will help you avoid deceptive and phishing sites that attempt to trick you with misleading addresses.
Well, IE 8 looks good, secure and private. What you think? Are you going to use it? Well, I am not gonna dump my Firefox so soon!
