How to turn ON/OFF Wireless Connectivity in Windows 8?

New Windows 8 users often finds it difficult to tun ON or turn OFF wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi or Bluetooth). The problem occurs mainly due to the new user interface. And it takes some time to get used to the new interface and additional buttons/menus. Unable to find Wireless Connectivity settings in your Windows 8 system? Steps to Turn ON or Turn OFF Windows 8 Wireless Connectivity:

  1. Move your mouse to the top right corner of the screen. Windows charms bar will appear.
  2. Go to bottom of the bar and press the Settings (gear icon) option.
  3. Windows 8 Change PC Settings

  4. Windows Settings Charm will appear. Press Change PC Settings link at the bottom of Settings Bar.
  5. The Settings window will appear. Go to Wireless section on left. All your wireless devices will be listed on the right side. If Wi-Fi is OFF, press the bar near Wi-Fi to turn it on. Repeat the same, when you want to turn OFF Wi-Fi.
  6. Windows 8 Wireless Settings

That’s it. You have just enabled or disabled Wireless connectivity on your Windows 8 computer. Repeat the process 2-3 times and you’ll get used to it.

Note: To open Settings charm you can also use shortcut keys: Windows Button+I. That will cut first 2 steps from the above instructions.
