Google Reader Adds Auto-Translate Feature

Nov 11, 2008

Now you can enjoy more news from foreign language blogs, as Google Reader has just added a cool new auto-translate feature. With this feature, you will never miss an interesting content only because it was written in a different language! So, for example, even if you don’t understand Japanese, you can now dare to subscribe to interesting feeds published in Japanese language.

Google Reader

So, how to use it? Next time you find an interesting feed in another language, just subscribe to it as normally you subscribe other feeds in Google Reader. Then, when you view the feed in Reader, just check off “Translate into my language” in the feed settings, and that’s it! The feed will be automatically translated for you into your language. This setting will be saved for you and contents from that feed will be dispalyed in your own language.
