Firefox 3.0.5 and Firefox 2.0.0.19 now available

Mozilla on Tuesday, announced that Firefox 3.0.5 and Firefox 2.0.0.19 are now available for Windows, Mac, and Linux as free downloads. Firefox 3.0.5 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.4. On the other hand, Firefox 2.0.0.19 also fixes to some critical security vulnerabilities and it is the last release of Firefox 2. And from now on there will be no phishing protection service for Firefox 2.

Firefox 3.0.5 comes with three critical, one high, one moderate and three low security vulnerabilities. It also adressed several stability and accessibility issues and comes packed with five new languages – Bengali, Esperanto, Galician, Hindi, and Latvian.

With the release of Firefox 2.0.0.19, Mozilla also repeated its request for all users of Firefox 2 to upgrade to Firefox 3. It also clearly stated that, the Phishing Protection service will no longer be available for Firefox 2 users. So, this is the right time for Firefox 2 users to switch to Firefox 3, which is more stable and secure.

    I’d have to say I absolutely love Firefox and their recent releases. I love the open all tabs option with bookmarks, it definitely makes surfing your favorite websites a breeze!

    I’ve been an Internet Explorer user for more than 8 years! Just recently joined the Firefox bandwagon (last year) and never turning back!
