File Transfer using iGoogle and orkut chat

Mar 30, 2010

Love to chat with friends online? Want to share files (just like Google Talk) using iGoogle or orkut? Now you can easily send files while you are on a live chat with your friends. Thanks to a new feature that Google has added to iGoogle and orkut. The new feature makes it possible to easily share files using the chat option on iGoogle and orkut.

iGoogle Orkut File Transfer

No additional download is required to use this feature. To give it a try, just click "Send a file…" in the Actions menu while chatting with a friend. This new feature is compatible with the file transfer functionality in the Google Talk. It means, you can easily share files with friends who are using Google Talk desktop software.

The file transfer feature is available on iGoogle and orkut. But Google is also working on bringing it to Gmail. That’s great! Isn’t it?

This is awesome feature by Gmail. I have been waiting for this.
Since the time I left yahoo messenger, this is one feature which I always missed
Though it’s still not live in my Gmail chat
