Yesterday, Microsoft and Netflix, the world’s largest online movie rental service, announced that one million Microsoft Xbox 360 video game console users have downloaded and activated the Xbox LIVE application from Netflix since it’s launch on November 19th, 2008. And within that three month, the Xbox LIVE users have watched more than 1.5 billion minutes of movies and TV episodes, the news release added.
What actually the Netflix application do? The Netflix application offers Xbox LIVE Gold members the ability to instantly watch movies and TV episodes from Netflix on a television via the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, without paying any additional fee.
